Yes, I have. I've caved. And started a blog.
"Why?" You ask. And rightly so. Well, for two reasons. The first is that I've had a friend who has told me for years that I need to write a blog. My biggest reason not to was that I couldn't get my email updates out often enough, so who was to say I'd ever get around to actually writing a blog... something I have no way of knowing how many people will actually read. Why spend time writing if no one will read it? This was my "full-of-excuses" answer to my friend. The second reason reminded me of the first, and taking the two together - that, and I kept coming up with blog postings while I was trying to fall asleep - made me decide that perhaps I should get myself writing on a blog. The second reason was actually an event. A public transport story, to be precise. And as I was traveling by myself, I had absolutely no one to share it with, no one with whom I could dissect the finer points of the experience. After returning home from that particular trip I decided there really is much to share that just doesn't get placed in those few and far between email updates I write and that those stories really do need to be placed out there in cyber-space. You know, just in case someone actually does read them during all their free time at work...
So there you have it. I'm starting a blog. And never fear, the public transport story will be shared. Trust me.
I've bookmarked your blog Sonya...so keep up with the updates:) See you soon...Amy S
